Lara Logan

 Lara Logan, born 29/03/71 was an South African television journalist and war reporter. She worked as a correspondent for CBS News between 2002 and 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager called her factually inaccurate and politically slanted report about the 2012 Benghazi attack "the worst mistake on my 10-year watch." She joined Sinclair Broadcast Group (a conservative media company) in the year 2019. The company was acquired by Fox Nation, a subscription streaming service owned by Fox News, in January 2020. In March 2022, she said she was "dumped" by the network. Logan was a student as a reporter at the Sunday Tribune, Durban (1988-1989) as well as the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992, she was hired by Reuters Television Africa as a senior production producer. After four years with Reuters Television in Africa she moved into freelance journalism. She was hired as a reporter/editor/producer by Fox/SKY, Fox/SKY (in London), CBS News, ABC News, NBC News and the European Broadcasting Union. CNN was her base, and she covered events like 1998's United States embassy bombings, in Nairobi and Tanzania. Also, the ongoing conflict between Northern Ireland and Kosovo.
