Kyra Minturn

 Kyraminturn Sedgwick was conceived on August 19th 1965. She is an American actress and producer. Her most prominent part is as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, on TNT's crime series The Closer. Sedgwick won an Emmy Award in 2010 and an Emmy Award in 2010 and a Golden Globe Award for 2007 for her portrayal Johnson. The series ended on August 13, 2012, following the conclusion of the seventh season. Sedgwick's performance as Madeline Wuntch in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine is also notable. Sedgwick received an Golden Globe Award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's other film appearances include Oliver Stone's Born on the Fourth of July (1989), Cameron Crowe's Singles (1992), Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996), What's Cooking (2000), Secondhand Lions (2003), The Game Plan (2007), and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick was the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald who worked as a speech and family therapist, and Henry Dwight Sedgwick IV Venture capitalist. Her birthplace was in New York City. Her mother was Jewish. Her father was Episcopalian, of English origin. Sedgwick identifies herself as Jewish, and she has said that she participates in Passover seders.
